Date of the NATO summit revealed: 21-22 May 2026
NATO has now confirmed that the summit in Helsingborg will take place May 21st-22nd. In an article from Expressen, the swedish foreign minister Maria Malmer Stenergard reveales that:
We’ll start on the 21st with an informal dinner, where Sweden will set the tone. It will take place at Sofiero Slott. The actual meeting will then be held the following day at the Clarion Sea U.
- Sofiero slott is located north of the inner city (Sofierovägen 131).
- Clarion Sea U hotel is central, close Helsingborg central station and the water (Kungsgatan 1).
In an article from Helsingborgs Dagblad, its mentioned that the neighboring facilities – Tivoli and Dunkers Kulturhus – ordinary operations will be closed for the week, indicating that a geographical area near the hotel may be physically closed.
